{Princess Peach (Aunt Julie), Link (Elijiah), Harley Riders (Uncle Nick and Aunt Nat) and our boys}After dinner Uncle Jamie told the kids a scary story about a ghost who is looking for her bones and is always saying, "my bones ... my bones." Ty was funny because he was obviously a little nervous about the story but just kept saying ... "Its just pretend. Its just pretend." He has this ear piercing scream though and was doing a good job at scaring everyone else and himself a little bit. He would scream whenever he could tell Uncle Jamie was trying to be scary.
The story ended and we headed down to Grandma's basement where there were bones on the floor leading us to the garage. Pax was now a little scared as he headed down the stairs since Ty had let out his ear piercing scream at the bottom of the stairs and Pax couldn't see what was down there. In the garage we saw more bones, stepped on cockroaches (crumbled chips) and found a table full of grotesque things ... brains (jello), intestines (noodles), eyeballs (glow in the dark sticky eyes) and dried skin (dried apples). It was fun and the kids were scared though they'll never admit it. Nobody wanted to touch anything since it was dark and they weren't sure what would be there. But they all ended up touching something.
On Monday we went to the hot springs and swam. The kids had a blast. On the way back to camp we stopped at the waterfall. It was so beautiful this year. The water is so high and fast. I even got a picture with our whole family ... doesn't happen often.
These cousins had a fun time playing together ... and fighting but what are cousins for? They all still had a great time!
Tyler is desperately trying to follow the instruction he got to give Pax a hug for a picture. Paxton is desperately trying to be in a picture or get a hug.
It looks like Pax is driving and he doesn't ever let up. I rode with him a few days later and we caught air on the jump! He's fearless!
Pax loved this eel. I personally thought it was a little creepy but he asked for a picture with it and I jumped at the chance since he never even wants to be in a picture anymore. 
Pax and Jaxon! I should have got a picture of Ty and Jaxon. It seems like everyday he talks about "his friend Jaxon." Tyler has talked about Jaxon ever since we saw him in March. He asks when we can go to Salt Lake to see him and when I tell him soon he says, "Now? Let's go now!!!" I guess I'm not the only one who wishes we lived closer to one another.
It was a long graduation day. We had graduation, a picnic and then Royce's Eagle Court of Honor but it was so nice to be there for everything. Royce is such a great example to all of us and I'm glad my kids have him to look up to. What I admire most about Royce is that he is responsible, loyal, loves his family and friends and would do anything they need him to. I know he will be missed around the house as he leaves for college and his mission.
Hattie and Zoe playing after the Court of Honor. In all honesty the kids did great with all the running around and we even managed to squeeze in naps for Zoe and Ty.
My whole family got together since my little brother Royce graduated from high school. Pax is always quick to remind me that his Uncle Royce was born after me but is bigger than me.
Last weekend Grandma Sue and Aunt Nat decided we should have a pirate party. The boys were all SO excited. Here are my mean pirate boys! We even had Ty saying, "Arrrrr!"
Our Pirate Zoe. She didn't mind the costume at all, she actually liked the belt since she could sit and play with it. She doesn't make a very mean looking pirate.
This picture is for Trav, Crystal and don't show Carson! ... wish you guys could have been here. The funniest part was Grandma Sue! At least we got a picture but it was hilarious in person. When we walked in Tyler started crying and saying, "not MaMa! not MaMa!" and Zoe cried too when she got too close. So until she washed her face Tyler kept an eye on Grandma and if she was coming anywhere near him he'd cling to someone and give her a mean look. What a scary pirate! She felt bad and ended up washing her face after Eric, Nicole and the boys got there.
The Treasuer Hunt was awesome. Uncle Jamie and Aunt Julie had made a map and helped the kids find the treasure. First they had to walk to plank in Grandma and Granpa's backyard. They had to count their steps and ended up on the lawn of the shop and found the other half of the map in the tree.
The map led them into the building where the lights were off and they needed their flashlights. They were all having so much fun and would huddle up around the map waiting to hear what they had to do next.
They had to go down into the dungeon and that's when Ty said he was scared ... probably since he and Pax always go down there with Grandpa looking for monsters. Good thing Grandpa owns this old, scary building because it was perfect. They had to squeeze through the pipes underneath the building. Aunt Nicole (6 months pregnant), Zoe and I went around. If you look really close you can see Tyler's eyes.
They ended up at what we call "The Rat Hole." It is a crawl space under the building where Bryce has been many times fixing cables, wires, etc. that run to his office. Pax was the first to climb in. He had actually told me a few days before that, "my dad never takes me in the rat hole anymore!" So it was his big opportunity.
Once inside they found their treasures! The funny thing was that there is a light switch just outside the hole to turn the light on inside the hole but it wouldn't work. So the dad's and Aunt Julie climbed in to help the boys with their treasures.
Grandpa and Uncle Jamie wanted to be funny and had some fireworks. They started with the pull kind and said, "hurry! the pirates are coming! get out of the hole!" Zoe started crying since they were loud and we headed back upstairs. Then Grandpa lit a few blackcats and they boys went running and crying. Zoe and Tyler were screaming and crying, Kolter was crying, Paxton was really mad and Hunter wasn't so happy either. So they made Grandpa walk the plank back at the house and shook it while he walked. Then they were able to forgive him.
