Backyard Camp Out
Pilot Tyler
Our 4th of July
Bryce and Grandpa took Pax and Hunter fishing. Pax was so proud of his fish and even enjoyed eating it.
We camp right by a creek and the kids had so much fun playing in it. Its nice that Hunter and Paxton are good buddies! The older cousins had made a path in the creek with rocks that they could ride down in the tubes. Too fun!
We went up to Granite Hot Springs and also walked to the falls. Pax is trying to make Tyler look at the camera for the picture. The cool water splashing off the falls sure felt good.
The fun thing about camping now is that the cousins enjoy one another so much. Paxton and Hunter stayed an extra night with Grandma and Grandpa since they weren't coming home yet and they didn't want to leave either.

Blogging Break
It seems I took a bit of a blogging break ... for several reasons really. We went camping for the 4th of July, came back and my internet was down. I finally figured out how to fix it and now I've been busy getting ready for the baby to arrive and running Pax and Tyler around to swim class, soccer practice, summer movies and whatever other things we decide to pack our day with. I always heard moms say how busy their summers are ... now I understand. Here's a few highlights of what we've been up to:
*Tyler is quite the talker and copycat now. He imitates everything we do and say. He LIVES for his brother and doesn't quite know what to do with himself when Pax is not around. He mostly ends up walking around, putting his hands up and saying, "Pat-ton?"
*Pax has been having a fun summer playing with friends and especially loving having his cousins living in town ... they normally are only 15 minutes away but its much more convenient to play together when it only takes 5 minutes to get to them. Every day he asks when he can play with Hunter and is having fun playing with Kolter too.
*The nesting phase has hit for me and I only have 11 days until I am getting induced ... Aug 10th is the big day. I've never been induced before so its kind of fun to have a definite date it will happen by. Its 11 days early but my babies have always arrived early anyway. Since I'm traveling to Utah for this baby the dr wants to induce so that I'm not driving 2 1/2 hours in labor.
*Bryce has been busy with work and all the projects around the house that are on the "finish before the baby" list. The boys still want to go for 4-wheeler rides daily and do end up going a couple times a week ... Bryce is the only driver we have at our house for a while since I'm afraid it will throw me into labor or at least be totally uncomfortable.
