Our Last Week
The boys and I - We headed to my parents for the week. My sister and her family were visiting too so it was fun for the cousins to play together. Pax was very sad when Sammy had to go home on Tuesday. They had so much fun playing with one another and getting their Uncle Royce and Grandpa to fly them around in boxes.
Pax had a list of things he wanted to do while we were in Utah. So we went to the Planetarium, the Dinosaur Museum, played with Devyn and Jaxon (thanks for spending so much time with us!), ate at the Mayan (Pax got to give the diver a high five which was the highlight of his day) and did a little shopping. It was a busy week which was what we needed to keep our minds off of how much we were missing Bryce.
Returning Home - Bryce flew in last night at 11 p.m. and we picked him up. Then headed home to Wyoming. I thought we'd be so exhausted but it was just nice to catch up on what we'd all been up to the past week. We made it home by 2 a.m. but Tyler woke up when I was bringing him in the house. He looked around and realized he was home and so was his dad so he decided to get up to play for about a 1/2 hour. So today it is nice to be home. To get back into the routine of things. Nice for the boys to be entertained with their toys and rooms and to just relax a little.

11 Months
Tyler is 11 months now. One more month and he will be a year! That's hard to believe. He now has 8 teeth and they are the sharpest little teeth. He has taken a few random steps on his own but usually wants to hold onto someone's finger ... just one, never with both hands anymore. He gets a little braver each day.
He still LOVES the bath. In fact, I think he lives for his bath each night. If anyone even says the word he will be waiting by the bathroom door. He is hard to keep still in the bath though. He is always wanting to crawl from one side to the other or he wants to stand up. He definitely knows what the word "sit" means since we're always telling him to sit down when he's in the bath and he is a pretty good listener. He just slowly lowers himself down, although usually only for a minute and then we're telling him to sit again.
He is learning to blow kisses and its always nice to hear Pax tell Tyler that he loves him. He has started coming to give Tyler a kiss, tells him to have "sweet dreams" and be a good sleeper at nap time. Most days, at least once he also adds, "I love you Tyler." I love that they love each other.
