The Big Move

So we did it. We moved and are sort of settled. There are of course plenty of boxes to still be unpacked, organizing to be done and LOTS and LOTS of dusting.

The kids have done great and love the new house. I was the most worried about Pax since he does not like change but about two weeks before the move he decided he did want to move to the new house (prior to this his plan was to keep both houses so he could go visit the old house and his star floor) and he only decided to move since he has a hide out in his closet ... don't tell him you know since its the boys' secret spot. Zoe seems unphased except for the fact that she loves to run the circle on the main floor ... kitchen to dining room to foyer to living room and back to the kitchen. She is much harder to watch at the new house since I don't trust her by the stairs ... despite the fact that she turns around to go down two feet before the edge. Oh well, there has to be something to worry about.

So hopefully moving and getting settled means that life can become somewhat normal again ... if only all the contractors would completely finish so we can have our house to ourselves.
