So I wasn't really a day late wishing Bryce a Happy Birthday just a day late on my blog. We had a fun birthday day for him ... at least I think so. Paxton has been so fun this year since he's just about as happy when its someone else's birthday as when it is his own.
We went and bought presents on Monday and it was all Pax could do to not tell his Dad ... maybe he did and they just didn't tell me. He kept asking Bryce if he wanted to know and said he'd tell him. Pax was still sleeping when Bryce left for work yesterday so he didn't open any presents before he left. Thank goodness we had a full schedule in the morning because for the hour we were home Ty asked a hundred times if we could open presents.
We got back from the magician at the park just before Bryce came home from work. The boys decided to hide all his presents and play hot cold for him to find them. When Bryce walked through the door we were hiding, jumped up and yelled, "Happy Birthday!" (all of this was planned by Pax).
After work we had Bryce's family over for fajitas, cake and ice cream. Since our nephew is allergic to nuts and we were having German Chocolate Cake I made 4 cupcakes for the boys. It worked out nicely since then they all had their own candle and nobody felt like they didn't get to help blow out the candles.
Oh yeah, I won't mention how old Bryce really is but when Pax asked him he told him he was 20. Pax gave Bryce this funny look and said, "then you're a teenager!" He knew better than to believe his dad!
